St Matthew’s is the Parish Church of Burdon Vale, Doxford, Hall Farm, Moorside Silksworth & Tunstall.

At St Matthew’s we gather together to worship, to hear and learn from the Bible, to share in the meal Jesus gave us and pray for our community and our world. All are welcome at any of our regular services. We are a church in the central traddition of the Church of England.

Sunday Morning Service

Every Sunday morning we meet at 10:45am to celebrate Holy Communion. We explore the bible together reflect upon its meaning to us today. Each week our Sunday school meet with us and undertake their own activities during the service but joining us for Communion. After the service we serve tea and coffee.

Wednesday 

On a Wednesday morning we meet at 9:30am for a quiet and reflective service of Holy Communion.
